- Why a Corporate Identity review?
Gezolan AG was founded back in 1968 and has grown up over the last years to a well reputed leading company in the field of EPDM rubber granules for different uses in synthetic flooring.
Over the years the «G» Logo was used as company identification, always combined with the product brand GEZOLASTIC.
With the introduction of rubber infill systems for artificial grass, GEZOLASTIC was split among two new brands: GEZOFLEX and GEZOFILL.
This situation was not a good solution for the company and its marketing communication.
- The project
A new Corporate Design should integrate the company and product logos unifying design elements, with the objective to achieve more visibility and unity throughout all type of communication.
Additionally we wanted to bring into appearance the “Swissness” concept in a modern and dynamic way.
- The implementation
The «G» as overarching Symbol and anchor
The well-known «G» was respected as identification symbol of the company. The new and modern «G» can be interpreted as G for Gezolan but also as Q for Quality.
The «G» itself is formed of three symbols which can be seen as rubber granules.
The granulate symbol
Our granules form stable, comfortable and accurate grounds. The «G» von Gezolan can be individually broken down into the symbols that highlight company’s information. This is fundamental for our communication strategy.
This way the Corporate Design guarantees brand recognition even without the Logo and the message is formally integrated.
Based on the granule areas, three icons highlighting market relevant values were added. These three icons will be used across all communication material to emphasize our company core values:
-Human and Environment consciousness
Claim «Further than you think»
«It always seems impossible until is done». We stay strong pioneering the industry and have adapted the famous quote of Nelson Mandela behind our motto. This message should position the company and at the same time drive and motivate the company employees.
We have defined three key visuals for our communication. These visuals stand for the three most dominant market segments where the company products are sold to, and can be used for individually or combined for all communication purposes.
The Corporate Paper
The world of Gezolan is coloured, and colour is visible as long as there is light. We have chosen Heaven 42 and Lessebo Bright as the whitest paper on the market for our printed communication.
